Update: TMZ is reporting one of Greene's dogs died in the fire and the other is being checked out by Animal Control. So heartbreaking.

Ashley Greene's apartment in Los Angeles caught on fire on Friday morning. LA County Fire Department confirmed they were dispatched at 9:50 a.m. this morning. The fire was put out at 10:07 a.m. and investigators are on the scene to determine the cause. No patients were transported to the hospital.

TMZ has photos of her West Hollywood condo up in flames, and while the "Twilight Saga" actress was not home at the time, her brother reportedly was.

Residents at the complex say that her brother, Joe Greene, and assistant had been going in and out of the condo all morning. TMZ -- whose offices are in the complex next door to Greene's condo -- reports a neighbor "heard glass exploding in Ashley's condo."

Greene's chihuahua was inside of her condo at the time of the fire and was saved. However, Greene reportedly has two dogs and it's unclear at this time where the actress' other pet was.

Judging from Greene's Twitter account, she went out last night with friends to catch a taping of Daniel Tosh's Comedy Central show.

Omg! has reached out to Greene's rep for comment, but in the meantime, we're sending our good thoughts in the direction of Greene, her brother, and her dog.
