Alyson Hannigan and her family can rest a little easier tonight.
On Wednesday in a Los Angeles Superior Court, a 43-year-old man named John Hobbs, who had been posting threatening messages about the “How I Met Your Mother” actress, her husband Alexis Denisof, and their two young daughters, was slapped with a three-year-restraining order protecting all of them.
Hannigan, 38, filed court papers last month and was granted a temporary restraining order. At the time, Hobbs, who was recently released from a mental hospital, did admit to police that he wanted to meet the redheaded star, reports the AP.
The new restraining order, which Hobbs agreed to, mandates that he stay at least 100 feet away from Hannigan and her family.
