Let’s face it, when you’re as hot as Adriana Lima, you can pretty much do anything … including wearing your designer dress backward.
The Victoria’s Secret stunner hit the II BrazilFoundation Gala Miami at the historic Vizcaya & Gardens Museum on Tuesday night in a jaw-dropping Alberta Ferretti Spring 2012 runway gown and showed off her fashion chops and then some when she donned the frock in a different direction than the designer originally intended.
The look, which hit runways during Milan’s Spring 2012 Fashion Week, was originally designed as a flowing pajama-like jumpsuit with silky draping in the back.
But the 31-year-old catwalker put her own spin on the garment, turning it into a dress and donning it backwards, which, in turn, showcased her amazing décolletage. The gown, which also featured cutout side panels with sparkling, snowflake-like detailing, accentuated her mile-long legs. She polished off the ensemble with dangling earrings.

Lima’s fashion savvy switcheroo definitely paid off! However, the Brazilian babe isn’t the first celeb to have fashion-lovers screaming that she must have gotten dressed in the dark. Angelina Jolie wore a Max Azria gown to the 2009 SAG Awards in the wrong direction and, earlier this year, Amanda Seyfried zipped up the front of her Bodyamr cocktail frock at the L.A. premiere of “Mother and Child.” While Jolie received an A+ for her fashion acumen, Seyfried wasn’t so lucky.
But, like Lima posted on her Twitter this week, “Imperfection is beautiful.” In the model mom’s case, her imperfect look was more than perfect.
