12-Year-Old Ashton Kutcher Swatter Admits Guilt

omg! Celeb News

The 12-year-old boy who pranked Ashton Kutcher didn't get the same LOL ending viewers saw at the conclusion of an episode of "Punk'd."

The juvenile, whose identity has not been revealed because of his age, has confessed to placing a 911 call in which he falsely reported a bomb threat in order to get police to swarm the actor's Los Angeles home, according to the Associated Press.

A slew of emergency responders descended upon Kutcher's home on October 3, 2012, after being told there were explosives on the premises and several people had been shot. However, there was no crisis – and the only people on the premises were Kutcher staffers. The actor himself also raced home from the set of "Two and a Half Men" after learning of the "emergency."

The young boy, who admitted to making a false bomb threat and computer intrusion, will be sentenced by a juvenile judge. He is also accused of making similar calls involving Justin Bieber's house and a bank, but those charges are likely to be dropped – though considered in the judge's sentence.

Kutcher and Bieber are only two of the famous folks who have become victims of celebrity swatting, which is the term given to the recent trend in which someone reports a crime in progress, drawing multiple officers (often including a SWAT team) to the scene as well as helicopters and other pricey emergency resources. Miley Cyrus, Tom Cruise, Simon Cowell, Clint Eastwood, and the Kardashians have also been targets, but it is believed that those calls were placed by other pranksters.
