Then: Teen stars Alyssa Milano, who grew up before audiences on the ABC sitcom “Who’s the Boss?,” and Debbie Gibson, who came to fame with songs like “Only in My Dreams” and “Lost in Your Eyes,” rocked the ultimate ‘80s fashions in this snapshot that Milano posted to Facebook. Although it’s undated, Debbie’s stonewash denim jacket and scrunchie — not yet replaced by the signature black hat she wore in the “Electric Youth” era — means that it was most likely taken before the album was released in 1989. We like to think that after snapping this pic, they danced to “Shake Your Love” and songs from one of the four pop albums Milano released in Japan as a teen.

Now: Gibson, 43, has ditched the scrunchie, but kept the singing. She’s performed on Broadway, appeared on “Celebrity Apprentice,” and toured with another ‘80s singer, Tiffany. The 41-year-old Milano has never released any albums stateside, but has stayed focused on acting. Her soapy ABC drama “Mistresses” will return this summer.
