When your guest house looks bigger and better than the average person's actual house, you know you've got a top-notch pad on your hands. And that's the certainly the case with the Hollywood Hills estate of Grammy winner Sheryl Crow, which she just listed for a whopping $15.95 million. The lovely Craftsman (see photos below) guest house with its posh living room and three bedrooms may look like it's fit for celebrity living, but that's just one of two (yes two) additional homes on the property reserved for Sheryl's visitors.
The main house — consisting of four bedrooms and three and a half baths — that the Grammy winner shares with her two children, 5-year-old Wyatt and 2-year-old Levi, is even more impressive. The Spanish Revival home was built in 1924 and has been remodeled to include lots of modern-day amenities like a kitchen chock full of high-end appliances, a library with built-in bookshelves, a wine cellar, and plenty of outdoor luxuries, too, including some close-to-nature spots where Crow must have penned a few tunes.
There's the infinity pool with attached hot tub and deck, a footbridge over the property, a cactus garden, and a tropical-style palapa complete with hammock for gazing out into the L.A. skyline, and an outdoor fireplace.. As for the guest houses, which share the 11-acre lot, the 1909 Craftsman contains three bedrooms and three bathrooms, while the 1885 "cottage" has two bedrooms and features white oak floors and the always-cool-sounding claw foot tub, according to the listing agent's website.
According to Zillow, the "Perfect Lie" singer and her kids have completed their move to Tennessee, but who might want to shell out the nearly $16 million to take over the giant estate with nine bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms spread out over three houses? Well, Sheryl's country colleagues the Dixie Chicks come to mind. One house per singer … perfect!
