Michelle Obama vs. Ann Romney — Fashion Faceoff

While President Obama and Mitt Romney duked it out onstage at the second presidential debate on Tuesday, we couldn't help but notice that both of their wives, Michelle Obama and Ann Romney, were sitting pretty on the sidelines in hot pink! They may have been acknowledging the fact that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (pink is the color that represents the fight against the disease), or maybe they just like the color, especially since bright hues of any kind are quite trendy at the moment. Either way, their wardrobe choice gives us a chance to cast our vote for the best-dressed wife of a candidate!

Obama, 48, wore a so-bright-you've-gotta-wear-shades sheath with a cropped jacket by Michael Kors. (Do you think they watch "Project Runway" in the White House?!) A strand of pearls added a touch of elegance to her look.

Meanwhile, Romney, 63, sported a textured knee-length frock with cap sleeves. The blond beauty accessorized with a blue-and-green necklace as well as some gold bangle bracelets.

Whether the color choice was meant to symbolize anything or not, it's one that we can support. The modern hue combined with the classic shapes of both women's dresses works just right. So when it comes to deciding who wore it best, this one is tough! In honor of our democratic system, we want you to set all politics aside and tell us which lady you think is first in fashion!
