Two Hollywood hotties -- reality star Khloe Kardashian and film actress Jessica Alba -- both chose a long, flowing Alexander McQueen gown for red carpet events three and a half years apart. Khloe wore soft gray, while Jessica chose an emerald green hue. Question is ... who wore it better?
Khloe Kardashian donned the strapless Alexander McQueen creation for the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles a few weeks back, sparking speculation that the loose gown was hiding a baby bump. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star accessorized with Amrapali earrings, a Judith Leiber clutch, and freshly-dyed red locks, which barely lasted a week before she reverted to her natural brunette hue.
Waaay back in June 2007, Jessica Alba sported a green version of the same gown at the Mexico City premiere of her film, "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer." Alba paired her dress with chandelier earrings and a glamorous updo.
So this McQueen number has had quite a workout on the red carpet over the years -- Mary J. Blige wore the emerald color in December 2007, and Audrina Patridge was recently spotted out in a ruby version of the gown. I can see why it's so popular -- with that shape you can hide all your lumps and bump, and still look divine! Khloe pulls it off with her usual fun, funky style, but Jessica transforms it into a stately masterpiece. For me, Alba wins this battle hands down.
