Big Ang’s Family Reveals Her Cancer Treatment Isn’t Working

Mob Wives’s Big Ang has had a tough couple months, with the return of her cancer and separation from her husband, Neil Murphy. But a recent tweet from her co-star Renee Graziano seemed to imply that things were looking up.

However, it appears that is not the case, as Ang’s sister Janine Detore has created a GoFundMe page to help pay for her sister’s treatments, revealing that Ang is suffering from stage IV lung and brain cancer, and that treatments so far have not worked.

“As you know my sister was diagnosed with stage 4 brain and lung cancer,” Detore wrote on Facebook. “Chemotherapy was started January 5th. On January 26th the doctor reviewed her CT scan and informed us that the treatment was not working, and in fact one tumor grew larger and the other tumors had no change. We were advised that she would start immunotherapy the following week. Well here we are at the emergency room waiting to see why her breathing is labored and the amount of pain she is having is by far more than she could handle. So I suggested cannabis oil as an alternative. This is why I am putting up this go fund me to try to help my sister to get this oil to help her at least be pain free.”

As of this writing, fans have donated more than $19,000 to reach the page’s $25,000 goal.
