Behati Prinsloo Confirms Her Pregnancy With a Side Pose (Like Everybody Else)

Behati Prinsloo hit the red carpet Wednesday for the first time since news broke that she is expecting her first child with hubby Adam Levine. The Victoria’s Secret model didn’t verbally confirm her pregnancy, but she did do plenty of side poses — the favorite angle of the baby bump set.

Clad in a loose black dress with a duster-length chambray coat and strappy heels, Prinsloo certainly had that special glow as she mugged for photogs at the Juicy Couture Black Label launch party in New York City. For full disclosure: It’s not all that surprising that she was there, considering she collaborated with the brand to help design the collection.

Her dress was just drapey enough to conceal whatever hint of a baby bump is likely there, at this point, now that she’s approximately three to four months along — but still, posing sideways? Actions speak louder than words, my dear!

As evidence, just look at the list of other pregnant celebrities who’ve recently opted for the side pose on the carpet to showcase their newfound bumps: Liv Tyler (who has baby No. 3 on the way), Morena Baccarin (who recently welcomed a baby with Ben McKenzie), Kelly Clarkson (who is brewing No. 2), Cat Deeley (whose bump remained miraculously tiny until the end), Ginnifer Goodwin (who’s currently preggo with her second child), and first time mom-to-be Anne Hathaway.

Two weeks ago, E! News announced that Behati and the Maroon 5 frontman were on their way to parenthood. “She knows what she’s having and she’s very excited,” a source revealed.

Back in 2014, Levine confessed that they were already eager to get their family going. “Yeah, we’re gonna do it at some point in the not-so-distant-slash-undisclosed-slash-I-really-have-no-idea-big-question-mark future,” he explained before asking, “Is that ambiguous enough for you?”

And this little nugget may just be the beginning. Asked how many they want, Levine replied, “Like 17. Is that reasonable? I love kids so much, though. I love seeing kids on the set too.”

So while the Namibian beauty hasn’t actually confirmed her pregnancy — like, with words — posing sideways with a glow like that is good enough for us. We’ll have to wait and see if she’s on board with the target number of 17 once she gets through pregnancy No. 1.
