Azealia Banks Continues to Insult Sarah Palin Hours After Issuing Apology, Says Bristol Palin 'Wouldn't Have so Many Kids' If She Listened to Her Music

Azealia Banks Apologizes For Homophobic Slurs: 'I'm Never Saying The Word F****T Ever Again'

Azealia Banks has apologized. Almost.

On Tuesday, the rapper issued a lengthy statement on her Tumblr, saying sorry for causing Sarah Palin "any emotional distress or reputational scarring," for her profanity-laden Twitter rant.

Although Banks, 24, did offer the former Alaska governor her "sincerest apology," the post was laden with further insults to Palin and her family – including her daughter Bristol Palin.

In a P.S. note in the statement, Banks added, "If Bristol Palin listened to my music she probably wouldn't have all those cotdamn kids!!!! :-P #sis #iud #stayinschool #causeitsthebest."

Shortly after sharing her apology, Banks took to Twitter where the insults continued.

"When you're a public figure who courts attention, you can't sue ppl for making jokes. Freedom of Speech girllllyyyyy," she wrote before adding in a separate tweet, "Lol and then the next part where she's like 'I will speak for trump and say he denounces his endorsement' haha."

"Everyone can tell you're spreading them cheeks for Mr. Trump Sarah….. you ain't got to lie."

The spat between the ladies started early Tuesday when Banks made a NSFW social media suggestion that the former governor should be sexually assaulted. Palin later responded with an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, revealing that she would take legal action against Banks "on behalf of all reasonable women of every age, race and political leaning."

Banks' Twitter feud with Palin isn't the first time the musician has aired her controversial opinions on social media. Last year, she faced backlash after sharing a controversial tweet, which compared the LGBT community to the KKK.
