Arnold Schwarzenegger Jokes About Smashing President Trump’s Face Into a Table

The former two-term governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is featured in the March issue of Men’s Journal. He discusses a variety of things, including a plan he once came up with for how to handle President Trump. “I called my assistant and said, ‘I think what we really should do is request a meeting, and then we just smash his face into the table.’”

Arnold lets the interviewer know that he’s joking, saying, “I think I have to kind of be above all that and put him on the spot.” If you don’t remember, Arnold recently put our current commander in chief on the spot after President Trump made fun of the new Celebrity Apprentice ratings. He suggested that President Trump and he switch places, because Donald “is such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job, and then people can finally sleep comfortably again.”

Arnold has also been very outspoken about the fact that some of President Trump’s decisions “make us look stupid.” He points out that President Trump sounds like “a rogue action hero with no impulse control. I sound more presidential and more diplomatic and more elder statesman — that’s exactly the way Donald should be.”

Arnold also discussed why he decided to be the host of Celebrity Apprentice. “I’d never done a reality TV show and thought it would be interesting. When Trump started running for office, I said to myself, ‘Obviously, he can’t do both.’” Arnold then called the executive producer, and they agreed, “Let’s do a season and see what happens.”
