Amy Poehler and Jack Black Surprise Fans With Performance of Bette Midler's 'The Rose'

Some say love… is Amy Poehler and Jack Black singing their hearts out together onstage.

The comedic duo surprised the crowd at Tenacious D’s third annual Festival Supreme on Saturday when they performed their own rendition of Bette Midler’s 1979 hit “The Rose.” Sporting aviator shades and with a cigarette in hand, the Saturday Night Live alum did her best rock star impression while taking the lead on vocals. Of course, the Goosebumps star backed her up with pitch perfect vocals as the crowd cheered.

While Midler has yet to comment on the performance, Poehler hasn’t been shy about her love for the singer/actress in the past.
