Amber Heard put on a smile on Saturday while leaving a legal meeting in Los Angeles, just one day after making shocking domestic abuse allegations against husband Johnny Depp in court filings.

Holding on tight to a female companion, Heard threw her head back in laughter while walking and toting her laptop. The outing was the first time Heard has been seen in public since appearing in court to request a temporary restraining order against estranged husband Depp on Friday.

In court filings, Heard has accused Depp, her husband of 15 months, of physically abusing her throughout their marriage. She obtained a temporary restraining order against the star after submitting photos of bruises on her face that she alleged in legal papers had resulted from an alleged domestic abuse incident on May 21.

An LAPD spokesman told PEOPLE that officers investigated the alleged incident after a 911 call and saw “no evidence of any crime.” Heard declined to file a report, according to police.)

Depp’s ex-partner Vanessa Paradis has reportedly come to the actor’s defense in the wake of the accusations, allegedly noting in a handwritten letter that Depp is a “sensitive, loving and loved person,” and that “these recent allegations being made are outrageous.
