Oh, what a difference 22 years makes — just ask Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler. The longtime friends, who first met in 1994 while co-starring in the video for “Crazy” by Aerosmith (a little band you may have heard of led by Liv’s dad, Steven Tyler), reunited over the weekend.

“Look who came to visit today!!” Liv, who is expecting her third child, gushed next to a black-and-white Instagram pic of herself alongside Alicia. “The sweet and beautiful @aliciasilverstone. Reunited and it feels so good !!!!! 1990’s girls !!!!!” She completed her message with a smattering of hearts.

Alicia documented the meet-up as well, sharing two side-by-side snaps — one from their recent visit and another from back in the day when they shot the now-iconic video together. Miraculously, they don’t look all that different.

A lovely reunion last weekend with my girl @misslivalittle 💖

You’ll probably remember that the “Crazy” video featured a Thelma and Louise-style storyline with Liv and Alicia skipping out of school and getting up to no good. After commandeering a Mustang convertible and ripping off their uniforms, they stopped at a gas station where they siphoned free gas and proceeded to steal everything from sunglasses to pinwheels while the attendant watched without saying a word. (Yes, they were that hot.) Before leaving, they took some seemingly scandalous pics in a photo booth and gave them to the worker as a thank you for letting them stock up without paying.

Then they dropped by amateur night at a strip club, where they performed for each other and managed to win the $500 grand prize without really taking off many clothes at all. The big finale involved the twosome picking up a cowboy who abandoned his tractor while it was still running, and going swimming in what appeared to be an oversized mud puddle. As you do.

When it debuted, “Crazy” was one of the most requested videos on MTV. It played so often during the morning countdown, in fact, that Liv remembered hiding in the shower to avoid seeing it. “I was in high school when I made it,” she explained on its 20th anniversary. “And when the video would come on I’d get so embarrassed, that’s when I would get in the shower. I remember that. Wow, that’s a long time ago.”

But while they reunited on Instagram, Liv didn’t seem to take the suggestion that they do a modern remake of the video very seriously. “That would be fun!” she admitted before speculating as to what exactly it would look like. “Me and Alicia walking around, the MILFs or something? With our children running behind us?”

Liv is due to give birthday to her third child, her second with fiancé David Gardner, any day now; they’re already parents to 11-month-old son Sailor Gene. She also has an 11-year-old son named Milo, whom she shares with her ex, Royston Langdon, and Gardner is the father of an 8-year-old son named Gray. Err, did you get all that? For her part, Alicia is mom to Bear Blu with her husband Christopher Jarecki.

We think a “Crazy” remake with a pregnant Liv, Alicia, Milo, Sailor Gene, and Bear Blu sounds like a grand idea.
