Adele Celebrates 107 Shows With Homemade Banner From Her Son, Talks About ‘Having Another Baby’

In case there was any question, Adele‘s biggest fan is her 4-year-old son, Angelo. On Tuesday, Nov. 22, the pop star (who recently clocked in second on the list of Forbes’s highest-paid women in music list) took to Instagram to share a pic of the sweet note her son wrote her in honor of her completion of the most recent leg of her tour.

The pic showcased a hand-painted banner draped across a staircase. “Mummy you did it!!!” the message read. The multicolored art project included a background decorated with polka dots and hearts. In other words, it was pretty much the cutest thing, well, ever.

“I just finished my 107 shows in 10 months,” Adele wrote beside the picture. “100% live every night.” She went on to give herself a little pat on the back. “I bloody smashed it, even if I do say so myself.” Then she went on to thank her friends and loved ones.

“You lot have been incredible, every night you’ve been so beautiful, loving, and engaged. My band and my crew you made the whole thing turn. And my beautiful family made it easy for me to do.” She signed off, “Big love x.”

Speaking of family, Adele might be gearing up to expand hers. For the second time in two months she’s referenced having a second child. “Give it up for me — I did it!” she told the crowd at the end of the Phoenix show. “I’ll see you on the other side. In a couple of years I’ll be back. You won’t be able to get rid of me.” Then, “Take me down, I’m going to having another baby.”

During a concert last month in Nashville, she confessed that she was struggling with her son growing up. “My son is about to turn 4 very, very soon,” she began. “I’m starting to get very emotional about it because I feel like once they turn 4, they’re not really your actual baby anymore. So my womb is starting to ache a little bit. It’s like, ‘Baby, baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby.'” That was certainly a far cry from statements she’d made in prior years, which pretty much insisted that she had zero interest in having any more kids (though her first child was much younger then).

She then clarified her plans, however, insisting, “I’m not pregnant. I won’t get pregnant until the end of the tour.” So anyone on bump patrol already can just relax.

The “When We Were Young” singer has roughly a three-month break between now and the end of next February, when her tour picks up again for a few weeks from the end of February to the end of March. Her final performance date is scheduled for March 23, 2017, which means if she makes good on her plans, Angelo could be a big brother as soon as the end of next year!
