6 Celebrity Couples Who Kept Things Simple on Their Wedding Day

Some stars go all out, sparing no expense when it comes to their wedding day. Others take a much more low-key approach. On Wednesday Mila Kunis stopped by Conan and revealed that when she and Ashton Kutcher tied the knot in 2015, they spent less than $200 total on their wedding bands.

“I decided to just get them off of Etsy,” she said, adding that her ring cost $90. “Ashton’s was $100, so technically his wedding band was a little bit more expensive.”

Before Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin made “conscious uncoupling” a thing, they got hitched in a private ceremony in Santa Barbara, Calif., with no friends or family present. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard exchanged vows with no frills in 2013.

“We got married in a tiny room in the Beverly Hills courthouse, and it was still one of the best days of my life,” Bell recently told CBS News Sunday Morning.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green kept it simple with an intimate sunset ceremony in Hawaii in 2010 with only one guest in attendance — Brian’s son Kassius.
