5 Things We’ll Miss About Justin Bieber Being on Instagram
Justin Bieber has pulled the plug on his Instagram account amid a feud with Selena Gomez and her fans.
Beliebers don’t seem to be handling the news well — likely because his new gal pal, Sofia Richie — yes, Nicole’s sister — has become his de facto spokesperson. They love their cranky pop star; they don’t love new ladies in his life.
Frankly, we’re not taking the news well either. Bieber’s Instagram is a treasure trove of riches when it comes to our line of work. It’s the place the moody music maker, 22, shows off his latest relationship, hairstyle (remember the dreads?), (bad) tattoo, pet (that he’s going to soon abandon), custom car, and exotic vacation (which he is on 75 percent of the time). It’s where he can rant, in grammatically challenged text posts, about how he needs to cancel his meet and greets because they are too taxing. ‘Cause the life of a pop star — and having two Purpose tour dates for the entire month of August — is hard.
While we’re sure he’ll be back to the photo-sharing app soon — where else will he share his shirtless selfies from bed? — for now we’ll mourn what was. Here is what we will miss…
His super obnoxious, “I’m a rock star” photos. Nothing makes us appreciate our own simple, relatively modest, and, yes, a little boring lifestyles like photos of the Biebs posing like a mack-daddy in front of a fleet of flashy cars and a private plane while wearing incredibly ugly pants.
Any and all of his awkward shirtless moments. You know — when he’s in a photo with a bunch of people and he’s the only one who randomly has his shirt off.
Throwbacks of Selena. This one is from May and it reminds us that, despite their recent war of words, those two can’t quit each other — no matter what they say.
His random man crushes. Truth: His love of Billy Nye the Science Guy is one of his most endearing qualities.
Cute pics of him with his BFF. His relationship with his brother Jaxon, 6, warms our hearts and reminds us that there is a human being in there.
Hurry back, Biebs. You will be missed. And guest posts on Scooter Braun’s Instagram just won’t cut it.
