5 Things to Know About The Bachelorette's Jordan Rodgers

Six months after a heart wrenching breakup from The Bachelor's Ben Higgins, new Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher is more than ready to find love.

Spoiler warning: For those who haven't seen season 12 premiere of The Bachelorette, plot details follow.

On Monday night's Bachelorette, Fletcher, 25, couldn't keep her hands off Jordan Rodgers, the instant front-runner to whom she gave the coveted First Impression Rose. What's more, the teaser reel for the rest of the season hints at plenty of drama, with 27-year-old Rodgers front and center.

Here are five things to know about Fletcher's new flame.

1. He's super close with Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay Packers (and dating Olivia Munn) fame.
You knew that last name sounded familiar! Jordan's big brother Aaron, 32, became the Green Bay Packers starting quarterback in 2008 and has been voted the NFL MVP not once, but twice! Aaron has also been in a relationship with X-Men: Apocalypse star Munn, 35, since 2014, which means Jordan's TV fame makes him just another A-list apple on the family tree.

And Aaron's not the only impressive athlete in the Rodgers clan ...

2. Jordan also played in the NFL!
Jordan signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Miami Dolphins. He's retired now, but he still looks like he could run circles around the competition.

3. He's a sport and a scholar.
Jordan claims Vanderbilt University in Tennessee as his alma mater. The school boasts just a 9 percent acceptance rate and is ranked No. 15 in the country. Now here's a boy you could take home to mom and dad.

4. He loves animals (well, sort of).
Just last week Jordan had a brush with the wild. In the popular beach vacation spot Hilton Head, North Carolina, he posed holding a shark in his bare hands!

"At least one of us was ready for the picture...still not sure who though #besties (and yes, I threw him back and told him to spread the word so his bigger friends don't take my limb later in life)," he joked in his caption.

5. He's the only one JoJo found worthy of kissing.
After Jordan missed his chance in his their one-on-one time, it seemed like the moment was gone. Thankfully he found her again and the two shared a passionate kiss. After she gave him the First Impression Rose, the two locked lips again.

We have a feeling this is just the beginning of Jordan Rodgers' journey ....
