Yolanda Hadid Shares She's Back to Modeling Amid Health Struggle Battling Lyme Disease

Yolanda Hadid is getting back to modeling!

On Thursday, the 52-year-old Dutch model shared a picture of herself from a photoshoot. Hadid – who kept it simple – wore a corset with barely any makeup as she posed for the camera.

"Little rusted but slowly getting back in action with @jimjordanphotography thank you @mrchrismcmillan for my new Goldie locks........ #Grateful #Blessed #GoodDay," she captioned the stunning picture along with a heart emoji on Instagram.

Along with returning to modeling, Hadid – whose children Gigi, 21, Bella, 19, and son Anwar, 17, have all followed in her modeling footsteps – is also set to release a new memoir about her struggles with Lyme disease. (The reality star was diagnosed in 2012).

"I am determined to find a cure affordable for all," she previously told PEOPLE. "And it has been my dream to write a book to share all the treatments, knowledge, and spiritual growth I have acquired these past five years. As I've said previously, it's my Dutch foundation that gives me the balls and courage to share my raw and unedited story with the world! By sharing my journey in this book, I hope to offer a voice and encouragement to people who are ill and find themselves struggling while uncovering the mystery of chronic disease."

In June, Hadid announced her departure from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after four seasons on the show.

"I would have loved a more graceful exit than 'Season 6' but sometimes we don't get to control the endings of the chapters in our life," she wrote in a lengthy Instagram post. "I am leaving what's over without denying its past importance in my life."
