Kathy Griffin's new book, Celebrity Run-Ins, My A-Z Index, will be released next week, but the D-list comedian is already sharing some of the juiciest stories from its pages.
In an interview with the Huffington Post on AOL's Build Series, she told the story of her bizarre encounter with controversial director Woody Allen when she was seated next to him at a dinner party. (Something tells me whoever made that table's seating chart may have had an ulterior motive.)
"I'm seated next to Woody Allen, and I'm uncomfortable because I think he's guilty," Griffin recounted, referring to allegations by Allen's step-daughter Dylan Farrow that he molested her as a child.

But things only got weirder from there. According to Griffin, Allen introduced his wife, who is also his adopted daughter, as "my child bride."
Griffin then said she was kept trying to make conversation with the director and somehow landed on the topic of Miley Cyrus, to which Allen replied, "I've never missed Hannah Montana."
"I don't know, that girl, she just had something," Allen continued.
Griffin, of course, replied, "Yeah, she was 8!"
But wait. The story gets weirder. After this exchange, Griffin made an off-hand remark about Allen knowing a lot of celebrities, to which he replied, "And now I have to watch my friend Bill Cosby get railroaded."
