Why This Mom Is Totally Cool With Her Kids Being Angry at Her

From Cosmopolitan

YouTube personality Kristina Kuzmic is sharing how she really feels about her kids being mad at her in a new viral video called, "I'm not your friend, kid! (Because I love you.)" So far, the clip has over 332,000 views.

In the clip, Kuzmic advises parents to stop trying to be their kids' BFF. "My number one job as their parent is to love them, and loving them does not mean making sure they're always happy and get every single little thing they want," she explains. In fact, she says the best, most loving thing she can do to for her kids is "raising them into healthy, decent human beings." And if they're angry with you in the meantime, whatever. At least they won't turn into "entitled bratty adults the rest of the world now has to deal with," Kuzmic says.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive. A YouTube commenter named steenblik123 wrote, "As a public school teacher, THANK YOU. We're part of the 'rest of the world' that has to deal with the bratty kids 'parents' raise." Another named Jean Johnson said, "This is amazing!!! lol - way to go!! I can only pray that all those moms who do not get this and then you have to deal with their bratty horrible kid will see this and wake up. Great job and HILARIOUS!!"

Not only is Kuzmic's message on point, but while ranting, she eats straight from a tub of ice cream, occasionally mixing in chocolate chips, and you just have to see ~amazingness~ she pulls at the end. Bottoms up, mamas. 🍷
