We Got Our Hands on Sofía Vergara’s Custom Wedding Day Lipstick

You probably already know that Sofía Vergara has a $500,000 diamond engagement ring — but did you also know that she’s wearing a custom-made lipstick on her wedding day? The deep red shade, created in collaboration with CoverGirl, is called Sofía in Love, and unfortunately, it won’t be sold in stores. But Yahoo Beauty received a silver tube of the color, made exclusive for Vergara, and we’re sharing the details with you. (Your invitation to the wedding got lost in the mail too, right?)

In September 2015, Vergara told Yahoo Beauty that a bold lip was important for her wedding day. Sofia in Love is made with the exact same formula as CoverGirl Outlast Longwear Lipstick — which means that one application will hopefully last Vergara the entire wedding ceremony, though Vergara has admitted that she doesn’t mind re-applying lipstick throughout the day. “I know that I want to do something interesting with the mouth,” she said. “I want to use a bold lip to make it modern. I’m an older bride, I’m 43, so I don’t want to play the role of the virgin getting married all pale and all that.” This rich, earthy red color is similar to colors that Vergara has worn on the red carpet before — and it’ll definitely pop against the presumed white gown she will be wearing.
Like the 11 other CoverGirl Outlast Longwear Lipsticks that are actually available in stores, the color has a soft fruity scent. It’s well known fact that her fiancé, Joe Manganiello, can’t stop himself with fragrances. While we’ll have to wait to see photos of the happy couple on their big day, this sneak preview of her wedding day lipstick is serving as inspiration for a flattering fall shade.
