Mariah Carey, the queen of Christmas ballads, may have found an heiress in daughter Monroe.
The songstress shared a cute video of herself with her children, including son Morocco, Friday at the Beacon Theatre in New York where she performed her “All I Want For Christmas Is You” concert.
And DemBabies were no strangers to the stage spotlight.
“Miss Monroe do you want to pose like mommy for a minute, want to do with it with me?” Carey, 46, instructed her 5-year-old, whom she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon.
The mother-daughter moment drew “awws” and applause from the crowd, but mini-Mimi quickly muffled her protective headphone-covered ears. “Oh the screaming bothers her, well you better get used to it,” the Mariah’s World star said while laughing, adding, “Because she has a very nice voice.”
Also at Friday’s show was the mother-of-two’s new love, Bryan Tanaka, who is one of her backup dancers.
Carey, who released a holiday album 22 years ago, remains the undisputed queen of Christmas, with her jingles being known as one of the first things many think about when the season approaches, second to Santa.
“All I Want For Christmas Is You” annually tops the list of most-streamed holiday songs and is officially the most-downloaded holiday single of all time, with 3.2 million downloads as of Dec. 3.
According to Tech Times, it’s also the 11th-highest selling single of all time and has earned more than $50 million for Carey.
