Video of Male Model Working Out With His Cat Has Gone Viral

Most people agree that cats win the Internet, but one viral cat has some pretty stiff competition: his insanely hot owner, model Travis DesLaurier. The buff Canadian has sent the web into a frenzy by posting a video of himself topless and using his cat, Jake, as a prop for his resistance-training exercises.

“Me & @jacobscrate are taking our training seriously meow, it’s nice he doubles up as my training partner, medicine ball, and weight set,” wrote DesLaurier. The video has racked up 15 million views on Facebook since he posted it two days ago — and has brought out the animal in a lot of DesLaurier’s followers.

“I never thought I’d be a cat person,” joked one user. “Jacob’s face went from ‘I am your overlord and master human’ to ‘what the actual hell are you doing, human?’” said another.

Others were a little too distracted by the “gun show” to appreciate poor, innocent Jake. “What cat?” wrote another drooling fan.

Jake — a puff of orange fur and puzzled eyes — keeps his cool as DesLaurier does bicep curls, overhead presses, and more. At one point, he uses the cat’s tail to wipe the sweat off his brow. “The look in that cats eyes when he wipes his forehead, is like ‘wtf human?! Did you really just wipe your head with my tail?!?’” said one fan.

DesLaurier, who identifies himself on Facebook as a model/actor/director/entrepreneur, is clearly a hardcore bodybuilder when he’s not hamming it up for the camera. His perfectly sculpted, tattooed physique had another user joking, “I know I know you can’t take your eyes off of the cat…i hadn’t even noticed the guy with the muscles hahaha.” We’re guessing his thick blonde hair and blue eyes aren’t hurting, either.

On the model’s Instagram — where Jake often makes appearances — the video has been viewed almost 93,000 times and garnered more than 2,600 comments. But @emmy_miller pretty much summed up all of our feelings in two words: “IM DEAD.”
