Tyga Speaks Out for the First Time as Details Emerge About Why He and Kylie Jenner Split
The news broke yesterday that Kylie Jenner and Tyga broke up... weeks ago.
Considering the pair have had their share of ups and downs and were constantly plagued with rumors that Tyga was cheating, the news didn't exactly come out of left field. But new details have emerged about what led to their split, and according to TMZ, it had nothing to do with cheating or the intense Kardashian family drama as of late.
"[Kylie] recently realized she wants to live the single life and soak up the spoils of being an 18-year-old multi-millionaire," a source close to the pair revealed to TMZ. "That frequently means flying all over the world for appearances."
Apparently, Kylie's jet-setting plans didn't sit well with Tyga, who's focusing on his music. "She wants to jet set, he wants to chill in a studio - and they both knew it wouldn't work," the source said.
And it seems like TMZ's source could be telling the truth. E! News caught up with Tyga for the first time post-split while he was in NYC promoting his upcoming clothing line, and he seems more focused than ever on his career.
"I'm good, you know?" Tyga told E! News. "Just another day and working hard and trying to get to that next level and achieve big things and evolve."
Meanwhile, Kylie attended Nylon's Young Hollywood party last night with family member Scott Disick and it looked like she was having a blast!
