The 35-year-old’s enviable locks have women clamoring for the exact hair care products and tools she uses to style her tresses. But has the royal switched up her signature ‘do?

Middleton attended a launch for Maternal Mental Health Films on Thursday in London sporting what appears to be a new dark auburn hair color. After doing some deep investigating, aka staring at several photos, we’ve concluded the fresher hue could possibly be linked to good natural lighting, or that her brunette hair looks more radiant against her red-and-white checkered gingham Epinone dress. Whatever the explanation, one thing is for certain: Kate Middleton’s hair looks amazing!
