Test Your Foundation on Your Forehead
On set before the launch of Yahoo Beauty, our Editor in Chief, Bobbi Brown, kept brushing foundation onto the models’ foreheads. Why? Because that's where the sun hits first, which means you're going to be most tan on your forehead. So test foundation on your cheek first, and then double-check it on your forehead to make sure it's a match. Since foundation should be seamless from neck to hairline, it's safer to go with a slightly darker shade to match the top of your head and, if you must, compensate with bronzer on your cheeks.
