Pro Football Player Loves His Wife’s Imperfection and Kisses Her Scars

And now, a collective swoon, please. Professional athlete Devon Still wants you to know that there’s nothing wrong with your imperfections. It’s something he stresses to his wife.

The former Cincinnati Bengals player posted a photo to Instagram on Monday, with a sweet sentiment directed at his wife, Asha Still. The photo features the athlete kissing a scar on her leg, which he says is one of the reasons he fell in love with her.

The couple, who married in May 2016, met back in 2012 and have shared a number of big moments since. For starters, they have the same birthday. But Asha certainly isn’t the only woman in his life. The NFL player’s Instagram features a number of photos of the many women important to him, including his mother, his sister and his 7-year-old daughter Leah, who beat cancer last January.

I want to wish a Happy 2nd Birthday to my daughter, Leah. Today marks 2 years in remission! From the moment we took this picture in the hospital, right before doctors walked in the room and said she had cancer, we had an extremely tough fight. But no matter how hard it got we never gave up. So today, we celebrate your strength and perseverance Leah! I love you more than you could ever possibly know.

Although we’re totally team Devon and Asha, we wouldn’t mind finding a hubby like him.
