Prince Harry Jokes About His Dad’s Thinning Hair

Prince Harry put on a headdress of colorful feathers in the Amazon rainforest on Saturday — copying a move that his dad, Prince Charles, made 16 years ago.

“My father told me what an amazing time he had when he was far younger and had more hair as well,” Harry cracked as he visited Surama, in remote Guyana on Saturday.

The visit, to highlight ecotourism, came as he wrapped his 15-day tour of seven Caribbean countries.

“What you are doing is incredible,” he told area leaders. “Your leadership is so important to ensure the protection of this place. These photos will hopefully end up all over the place to encourage more tourists to come here.”

Cultural chief Glendon Allicock had previously welcomed Charles back in 2000 and told reporters, “For a man of such high standing, he really embraced our culture and I’m so glad his son Prince Harry has done the same today.”

Harry, who threw himself into the two-week tour carried out on behalf of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth, then headed off to see the spectacular Kaieteur Falls, which is the single largest free-fall waterfall in the world, and nearly five times as high as Niagara Falls in Canada.
