Getting into a car accident is never not scary, but surprisingly, one Twitter user's experience has tens of thousands of people believing it can be a little bit funny.

On Saturday, Twitter user @hellocojo explained in a tweet that she had gotten into a car accident, then shared a photo of what happened when her flawlessly applied makeup ended up on the headrest due to the crash's impact.

"It's not funny but I'm in the backseat and," she wrote.

Thankfully, @hellocojo explained in both her initial tweet and follow-up tweets that everyone was OK after the incident, and many voiced their relief to hear it. Meanwhile, just as many couldn't help but laugh alongside @hellocojo for the incredible imprint her face had made on the headrest - because let's be real: It's completely normal to worry about leaving your makeup behind when you've spent good time and money on it.

And @hellocojo is definitely not the only one to have gone through such a terrifying experience. In response to her tweet, many were quick to make comparisons to an image that went viral a couple years ago of another makeup imprint on the back of a headrest.

Unsurprisingly, @hellocojo's photo was also quick to go viral - eventually racking up over 87,000 retweets and over 200,000 favorites before she deleted the original tweet.

Meanwhile, @hellocojo appears to be handling the situation (and newfound Twitter fame) with a good sense of humor, rightfully expressing her sorrow over all the wasted product.
