These days, cautious consumers are becoming a lot more careful about the ingredients being put into beauty products they’re spending their hard-earned cash on. Many have even begun to create their own DIY products to avoid coming into contact with harsh add-ins (which are commonly found in a wide variety of mainstream products) such as parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

Nordstrom recognizes this ongoing change and has decided to launch “Natural Beauty Outposts” in its stores. Pretty smart and convenient, right?

These natural beauty-focused sections will basically give lovers of the growing natural products movement a one-stop shopping experience. The outposts will feature a mix of some of Nordstrom’s most popular brands, including Origins, Tata Harper, and Bare Minerals, in addition to a few new products that will be launched and added to the outposts as well.

This Herbivore Coco Rose Coconut Oil Body Polish is one of many that will be featured within the new outposts. It’s a vegan-friendly body polish with a nourishing mix of coconut oil and Moroccan rose to rehydrate skin after sloughing off dead skin cells. Skin is left baby soft and smelling good.

Charcoal is another trending ingredient that’s also the star of another product — Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask — to be included in Nordstrom’s outposts. The mask is paraben-free and lifts all of the nasties out of your skin without being too harsh. The charcoal works overtime to deep-clean the skin and remove clogged and hard-to-reach impurities.

Also, Youth to the People Kale + Green Tea Spinach Age Prevention Cleanser is sure to be an easy sell at the outposts. It’s a gentle cleanser that’s full of antioxidants and leaves the complexion glowing. Plus, it’s never been tested on animals and is paraben- and sulfate-free.

Just to be clear, though, “natural” does not mean completely organic. Consumers tend to get confused by all the labels and claims being thrown out there. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Adina Grigore of S.W. Basics explains that natural “will generally mean that at least some natural ingredients have been used in the formula, but a product can be labeled as natural and contain up to 30 percent synthetic ingredients.”

Even so, it’s nice to see that Nordstrom recognizes the need for this in-demand service to its loyal customers. Now natural beauty enthusiasts don’t have to search as hard to keep up with their desired routines.

And for those customers who don’t have a physical store close by, you can also shop all your favorites online, here.
