No Brows? This Tutorial Will Change Everything

Everybody in my life knows that brows are a sore subject for me. I wasn’t blessed with the Cara Delevingne gene, or anything remotely close to that, and every day since the 8th grade I’ve crafted some rendition of an eyebrow to frame my round face. Over the course of those nine years, my brows saw the worst of times. They were tinted red, they were dark and chalky, and at one point they were giving off some major Spock vibes. They saw every type of pencil, pomade, and gel imaginable, and I can now confidently say that I’ve finally found the perfect routine for me. But with the onset of big, bushy brows – and subsequent weird ombré brows and brows with corners – the critic in me is struggling to keep her mouth shut. If you’re not down with the blocky, opaque brow all over Instagram but know no other way, don’t fret. It won’t take you nine years to perfect your brows. It won’t even take 10 minutes. Makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes just blessed us with a tutorial to solve all skinny and sparse brow woes.

Katie over plucked her brows as a teenager and they never grew back, so she’s learned to paint in little hairs that give her a 3D brow look. She’s not into the instabrow either, and she has a few tricks up her sleeve for making your tiny brows look natural.

If you’re still not sure which brow style is for you, Katie has you covered on that front, too.

Watch, learn, and never suffer from bad brows again.
