Nicole Kidman Threw It Back to Her ’90s Hairstyle

Nicole Kidman is known for her curls, but she’s also spent a lot of time straightening them. The 49-year-old actress is finally embracing her natural texture for her daughter’s sake. Six-year-old Faith inherited Kidman’s naturally red ringlets, and she says that Faith prefers it when mom wears her hair curly. “I’ve finally accepted that I’m a girl with curls,” Kidman told Jimmy Kimmel in 2014. “I almost never straighten it anymore; I let it go curly and wild. It’s taken me 40-something years but I embrace the curl.”

Now, Kidman is throwing it back to her ’90s-era signature style. While accepting the International Star Award for her role in Lion at Monday night’s Palm Springs Film Festival, Kidman rocked loose, piecey ringlets to frame her face, a high-volume side part, and bright lip color.
