Listen up, fellow makeup junkies: I know I’m not the only own who’s had to lie about how much she spent on lipstick to her parents. It adds up — especially if you have a penchant for Ruby Woo. MAC Cosmetics just launched its #MACSELECT members-only rewards program, which is the best thing for your vanity table and the worst thing for your wallet, ever.
It’s pretty similar to Sephora’s Beauty Insider program — the more you purchase, the more perks and privileges you receive. There are three tiers of membership: Seduced (joining MAC Select), Devoted (Spend $150 or more in a calendar year), and Obsessed (Spend $500 or more in a calendar year). Perks include complimentary makeup applications, free expedited shipping, product samples, and advanced access to limited-edition and select collections — so you won’t have to dig through eBay again.
