Lena Dunham Just Made a Drastic Hair Change
It’s common for actresses to change their hair once they’ve finished a project, especially a long-running TV series.
Ashley Benson dyed her hair pink after Pretty Little Liars finished taping, and her costar Troian Bellisario dyed hers the same color and cut it off shortly after. And now Lena Dunham got a new dye job as Girls comes to a close.

The first episode of the final season premieres Feb. 12. And while promoting it, Dunham debuted a new ‘do. Because, as one door closes, another door opens. At least when it comes to hairstyles.
In a few Instagram shots, she revealed ombre tresses that went from a medium brown color at the top to wavy, golden tips at the bottom. Her bangs were trimmed slightly above her eyebrows.
Her hair was shoulder-length a few weeks ago at the Women’s March, so unless she consumed a ton of those hair and nail growth pills, there’s a good chance these are extensions.
But we love the look on her, so hopefully she decides to keep it.
