Kylie Jenner Gives Shout-Out To Makeup Artist Who’s Supposedly Suing Her
Back in November of last year, Los Angeles-based makeup artist Vlada Haggerty planned to sue Kylie Cosmetics over images the company used to promote its namesake line of wildly popular beauty products. Months have passed, and it’s still unclear whether the lawsuit ever actually went down the way Haggerty’s lawyer claimed it would. However, it does seem like the whole issue may have taken a positive turn for both parties involved.
On Tuesday, Kylie Jenner reposted Haggerty’s work on Instagram: “Check out this inspiring photograph from @juliakuzmenko and @vladamua!”

The same post also appeared on the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account with a nearly identical caption about an hour before the 19-year-old posted it on her personal IG grid.
All’s well that (possibly) ends well? The photographer of the original metallic gold-dipped fingers and cherry-glazed lips, Julia Kuzmenko McKim, took to her IG feed as well and re-grammed Kylie’s photo, noting, “We are very happy to share that the issue has been resolved. Thanks so much to every single one of you creative souls who supported us, we truly appreciate you.”
We’re guessing that a shoutout on social media — along with exposure to Jenner’s 84.2 million followers — may have sufficed and ultimately saved the day. That’s beautiful, indeed.
