Kendall Jenner Once Plucked All of Her Eyebrows

What’s your biggest beauty regret? Kendall Jenner’s is that one time when she tweezed her eyebrows completely off her face!

“When I was younger, on a totally weird whim, I plucked out all of my eyebrows,” Jenner recently confessed on her app. “Thankfully, they grew back, but my sisters flipped OUT.” The model remembers having to go to camp sans brows, and face “all the cute surfer boys. Completely. Mortifying.”

You wouldn’t know by looking at her her perfect arches now, of course, but Jenner had to visit an eyebrow aesthetician at 14 to fix her brows as they started to grow in. And she lucked out: A lot of women who’ve over-tweezed their brows, whether by accident or to make a style statement (we’re looking at you, 1990s), claim the hair simply won’t grow back — but for the most part it should.

“We’ve all over-plucked at least once, but learn from your mistakes!” says Jaimineey Patel, head of taining at blinkbrowbar. Patel advises eager tweezers to not panic, though: Your hair will grow back, she assures Yahoo Beauty. You’ll just look, well, not like yourself for a while. “Over-plucking means you lose all of your natural arch shape, which can change your facial expression altogether.”

“I would recommend using a conditioning and strengthening product, such as our bbrowbar Nourishing Brow Oil, to speed up the process.” The tonic includes natural ingredients like sweet almond oil, rosemary oil, lavender, and sandalwood, and stimulates hair growth while conditioning the brow hairs. “Applied every night before bed, you’ll soon notice your hairs growing back, stronger and glossier than ever before!”

According to Cosmopolitan, it should take about three to four weeks for brows to grow back. And it helps to eat nutritious foods that promote hair growth — foods rich in iron, keratin, and vitamins C, D, and B6, according to an expert interviewed by The Telegraph. These include fish, eggs, and dairy.

And if you’re not so great when it comes to wielding a set of tweezers, leave this one to the pros. A professional eyebrow shaper is worth the investment as great brows make for a great face.
