There are few things more entertaining than watching celebrities publicly troll each other, and Katy Perry just blessed us (intentionally or unintentionally) with a master class in pettiness — which is made all the sweeter by the fact that Perry is also poised to collect some profits from it.

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift’s feud has been well documented in the press, and Swift’s “Bad Blood” hit single is rumored to be about their broken friendship. But it seems as if Katy Perry just hit Swiftie with the ultimate clapback, in the form of her new fragrance, Mad Love, which just so happens to be a lyric in the aforementioned Taylor Swift tune: “’Cause baby now we got bad blood/You know it used to be mad love.”

Bloop!

For the record, the name Mad Love is a play on one of Perry’s other fragrances, Mad Potion, so this could all be a coincidence — but that would be so much more boring than the alternative, no?

Whether this shade was intended or not, we’ve got to give Perry some points for renewing our interest in a celebrity feud that has little to no effect on our collective lives. We respect your game, KP.
