Is Bruno Mars Making Curlers Chic?

Are curlers the newest “it” hair accessory? Bruno Mars had us wondering just that after his performance on “The Voice” finale last night. Mars performed his new single, “Uptown Funk,” alongside Mark Ronson while sporting a full head of curlers.

It’s likely that his ‘do on stage was a nod to the music video for the song. Fast-forward to 1:55 in the video and you’ll see Mars and Ronson sitting under salon dryers, their hair wrapped up in colorful curlers. Mars isn’t the first artist to make a statement with curlers in a music video— we all remember Lady Gaga’s Coke can curlers in the “Telephone” music video, right?—but it takes a confident dude to sport gilded curlers on stage.
