With marriage comes a promise that you and your spouse will comfort one another no matter the circumstances.

For one truly romantic couple, living up to that promise just so happens to involves some nail polish and a surrogate pinky finger.

About a week ago, Libby Sanders posted a status to her Facebook page that detailed an intimate moment between her and her husband, Matt.

Sanders shared that she had lost her left pinky finger, and although she has come to terms with her loss, she explained that she is continuously reminded of the fact whenever she paints her nails.

Sanders wrote that it is "always kind of a bummer," and that one day, after making a casual comment while painting her nails about forgetting she had lost her pinky, her husband responded in the most perfect and thoughtful way imaginable.

Matt vowed, "I will be your surrogate pinky. You can paint my pinky to match your nails for the rest of our lives."

Sanders posted two touching photographs showcasing Matt's painted pinky, and Sanders resting her hand on top of his, making her manicure look complete.

In response to her husband's generous statement, Sanders wrote, "I cannot image a sweeter, kinder man. No words adequately describe our love."

Sweet and kind seem like quite the understatement, and we hope to see some exciting updates on the couple's future nail colors.

One thing's for sure,:these photos prove that Libby and Matt truly complete each other.
