Foundation helps even out skin tone and hide imperfections. The trick to scoring the right foundation is to decide what type of formula you want, then choosing one that matches your skin tone. Always try three shades close to your skin tone in two-inch strips on the side of your face. Check the color in natural light. The color that blends in with your skin is the one to go with. When it comes to formula you have a lot of options, and you will probably want to have more than one on hand. Here’s the breakdown:
BB Cream
BB Cream is a great low-maintenance option for women who want, but don’t necessarily have the time for a multi-step beauty routine. It provides coverage, anti-aging and brightening benefits, hydration, and sun protection all in one
Use your fingers to apply a thin even layer to clean skin. It’s extremely buildable, making it easy to control the amount of coverage.
Tinted Moisturizer

I never leave the house without my Foundation Stick. It’s portable and won’t ever spill, making it a travel-friendly option and a go-to for mid-day touchups.
Spot apply foundation wherever you notice any redness, usually around the nose and mouth.
Liquid Foundation
Liquid foundations typically offer medium to full coverage, perfect for covering redness and imperfections. Its creamy texture blends effortlessly into your skin.
Cream Foundation

Powder Foundation
Powder Foundations provide sheer and lightweight coverage for a natural look. I like to recommend this formula for oily skin.
Use a powder puff, sponge, or powder foundation brush to apply the product, sweeping and blending as you go. For a more polished look, gently press powder into skin.
