Come December, Hilaria Baldwin will mark five years of being pregnant or nursing. She loves nothing more than being a mom of three adorable kids, but the tough part is she's dedicated her life to fitness as both a yoga instructor and lifestyle guru - not always an easy feat when your body isn't the body you're used to. But that's why she's remained such an open book with her fans and followers; less than 24 hours after giving birth to her second child, she posted an underwear selfie, and she did the same thing after the birth of her third last September.

Her reasoning? "First, to say, 'Hey, that is what a postpartum body really looks like," she says, which is also why she posted monthly updates both during and after her pregnancy. "But also, because I know I'm going to be fit again and I want to show that you can do it, too. If you want to join me, come do it with me. This this is how I do it, and I'm going to be very open about how that happens."

Follow along with her essential yoga moves for new moms getting back in shape, and read on for more of her health and fitness advice.

How becoming a mom has changed her approach to her personal wellness: "I used to be able to get up and work out before work every single day. But now, I fit it into nap time. I'll do these 'found moment' workouts that I often post on Instagram. What can I do in 5 minutes? Maybe I'm not going to have an hour and a half or 45 minutes, it's just 5 minutes or 2 minutes. What can I do before bed? I'm just constantly trying to keep moving throughout the day. It's luxurious when I can get a long workout in."

How her healthy living principles have rubbed off on her husband, Alec Baldwin: "Your partner does rub off on you. In terms of me to him, he lost a lot of weight when we got together, but he's worked hard to maintain it despite ups and downs and would be the first person to say that. He'll see that I go work out, so it's like, 'What are you going to do with that time?' When we go out to dinner, we'll order a pasta and a fish and share that, rather than both having pasta. On my side, he's taught me to indulge a little bit more and relax more. When I met him, he was like 'You never take a day off?' I was like 'No, I worked 7 days a week, 365 days a year.' He encouraged me to take one day off a week, which turned to two days off a week. Now, I'm much more balanced."

Happy weekend to all ❤️

How she keeps everyone in her home living clean: "By teaching my kids to be participants in our home. Raphael loves to vacuum - I have this little toy vacuum cleaner for him, and it's the best thing ever. If you take the real vacuum out, he'll scream until you let him have it. Carmen's really into doing laundry right now. We use all® sulfate free at home, which is incredible because it tells you the ingredients in a really straight-forward way. So I'll teach my kids, eventually, to read labels, and teach that to my students and for myself. I use sulfate-free shampoo, so why not the same for detergent, especially when it comes to laundry with three little kids whose clothes we change a million times a day."

What she'd say to new moms dealing with changes to their body after birth: "You can be really fit and look really good. Are you going to look the same as you did before? Probably not. But whether you had babies or not, every single year that goes by you're probably not going to look the same as you did before. That's just part of aging. And youth and beauty, all of these things are fleeting. If we're lucky, we age. A lot of people don't get to do that. Just be present for the life experiences and wear your mommy pride really close to your heart and realized that's the most important thing."
