Here's What Happens When You Apply 100+ Coats of Nail Polish

If you ever find yourself impatiently waiting for your manicure to dry, just think of Cristine Rotenberg: The quirky ‘Simply Nailogical’ YouTube star recently spent 12 hours ambitiously applying more than 100 coats of polish to her nails, just to see what would happen.

Known for her informative tutorials, the vlogger decided to indulge in the silly dare following several requests from fans. “Lately I’ve been getting a lot of requests to put on a layer of every single polish that I own. Honestly, if it weren’t for you guys, I wouldn’t have such great content ideas,” she explained.

And so, for literally half a day, Rotenberg worked diligently to turn the nails of her right hand into bizarre, 3-D rainbow globs — which she affectionately hashtagged #polishmountain. Let’s just say that these babies put bubble nails to shame.
