Get the Victoria's Secret Angel Look

Flawless skin, glowing cheeks, glossy lips. When it comes to looking like a Victoria’s Secret Angel—aka a total bombshell—you don’t have to be a supermodel to perfect their makeup routine. Celebrity makeup artist Dick Page created the enviable beauty look at this year’s fashion show in London, and it’s not as complicated as you think. Page breaks down the look into three parts: fresh, healthy skin, softly defined eyes, and a rosy beige lip. Making it happen is totally doable.

First Page applied a red cream blush (try NYX Cosmetics Cream Blush in Red Cheeks) to the cheeks. That’s right—blush first. “I like to put the cheek color on first as I find it makes the face look instantly fresher,” says Page. “I blend it well into the skin with fingertips or a soft brush, adding a little dab on the nose too.”

Since most girls had been spray-tanned before the show, Page just used bronzer to warm up the face where necessary. To make the look work on a variety of skin tones, Page says he used warmer highlighting shades such as a deep gold and copper on darker skinned girls.

For the eyes, Page used Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Colour in Sable and mixed together two shades to use as a liner, Caviar and Shoyu. Next came a lot of black mascara applied to curled upper lashes (we like Dolce & Gabbana Passion Eyes Mascara).

Glossy lips were the final step in getting models runway ready. First, lips were tinted with Victoria’s Secret Lip Stain in Endless Pink followed by a beige gloss that Page custom mixed on the morning of the show (try using NARS Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Tiber at home).

Neutral colors on the eyes, flushed cheeks, and a natural lip are all it takes to get that bombshell look. “The Victoria’s Secret girl can be anyone,” says Page.
