Experts Reveal the Baby Names No Parents Are Choosing

Crazy baby names are particularly popular for celebrities. There’s Pilot Inspektor, Blue Ivy, North West, and too many more wild monikers to list them all. Because of this trend, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for parents to conjure up a name that’s truly different.

Thankfully, baby naming experts have come up with a list of names that absolutely no one is using anymore, which may provide some inspiration.

Experts from Nameberry decided to compare all the official baby names recorded in the United States last year against the complete list of names in their own database. This revealed the names that not a single child was given in 2016. Not even one!

Researchers unearthed 5,000 names but picked out the top 100 that they felt were the most “usable.”

The style of names range from the deeply traditional to the futuristic and the frankly bonkers.

Some names also double as words such as Traveler, Puck, Rancher, Drummer, Whimsy, Calico, Louisiana, and Dancer. Others are nature-inspired including Trout, Daffodil, Bluebell, Beach, Land, and Salmon.
