Erykah Badu Turned Her Hair Into a Work of Art
Erykah Badu routinely serves us great hair. Whether it’s fluffed out into a voluminous ‘fro, braided up and adorned with cuffs, or chillin’ under a massive turban, the singer always manages to change up her look in a way that turns heads.

Badu shared her latest hair journey on Instagram last night, posting a series of photos and videos showing her applying what appears to be colorful paint to her hair.
In a time-lapse video, we see Badu sitting in front of a mirror, armed with her paints, brushing color onto her hair in a cool, abstract pattern.

Commenters seemed to be feeling her look. “She’s so different and I absolutely love it,” one person wrote. “Awesome. I love the s*** you do while you’re chillin at home,” another said. “YASS Paint the braid,” a fan encouraged her.
