Derek Lam to Debut 10 Films for Fragrance Collection

When it was announced in November that Derek Lam would be releasing not one but ten fragrances under his contemporary label Derek Lam 10 Crosby, his fans were excited, to say the least. After launching a special gift set for holiday, he is now is ready to debut the full-size 10 scent collection. And what better way to officially launch than with 10 films?

Working in partnership with Supermarché/Moxie Pictures Production, the New York City based company founded by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman (they brought you Catfish: The TV Show), Lam is debuting a series of stories — some real and some imagined — all of which were shot on Crosby Street, the former home of the company’s headquarters. Each film features women in their 20s and 30s and captures the diversity of New York City. You’ll likely recognize some familiar faces as you dive into the stories — Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development), Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein), and Greta Lee (Girls, New Girl, and Sisters) all make appearances.

If you find yourself having trouble deciding on which of the 10 scents to add to your cart (if you’re a musk lover try Silent St, while those looking for a little spice should pick up Blackout, made with chai tea essences), this film trailer, debuting exclusively on Yahoo Beauty, can help be your guide. The full films will debut online on February 2 and the fragrances launch at Sephora on January 28 (you can get your hands on one now if you happen to be a VIB Rouge or VIB member).

Derek Lam 10 Crosby fragrances will be available in two sizes, 175ML ($175) and 50ML ($95).
