As the super crazy 2016 election season, super cute kids often prevail as voices of reason. Also, they’re cute! And we need that right now. Christopher, a little boy who is clearly a huge fan of President Obama, is a perfect example.
When Christopher’s mom tells him that the Obama’s presidency is almost finished and "it’s the rules - we have to pick a new president," he gives her a playful smile and says, "No, it’s not." But much to his dismay, Christopher discovers his mom is not joking.

"I don’t want to pick a new President," Christopher cries - and let’s be clear, there is a lot of pressure. (Sure, Christopher’s technically too young to be able to "pick," but that doesn’t mean the stakes aren’t high for him, and his future.)
He then goes into a full-on teary meltdown when his mom tells him that he has to choose between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. "No, I like Obama better!" he exclaims through his tears (presumably he feels the same about third-party candidates) and Twitter users definitely feel his pain:
@aniludanieIa I KNOOOOW CHRISTOPHER. I KNOOOOW 😩😫😫😫😭 WE KNOOOOOW 😭😭😭- MeLIEnia Trump (@KytheRHOgue) October 14, 2016
Christopher isn’t even the first kid to struggle with the idea of a new President - 2016 has seen viral videos of 4 year-old Abella and first-grader Kameria also getting emotional at the thought of such #Change.
