If it feels like everywhere you look a new celebrity has gone platinum, you're not alone. The color is a present-day Hollywood epidemic (in a good way!), and with a history stretching from Jean Harlow (the OG "bombshell blond") to Debbie Harry, the color stands the test of time for giving anyone an insouciantly cool vibe. Especially given our current hair climate, with its rainbow, mermaid, and kaleidoscopic colors, platinum's like a palate cleanser that hits "hip, but minimalist" squarely on the head.
